SEYMOUR Edgar Joseph, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Swan Pointe Care and Rehabilitation Center. Edgar was born March 5, 1933 in Washington D.C. to Royal and Anne (Brault) Seymour. Edgar served our country in the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate Senior Chief in both the Korean and Vietnam War. Edgar was a lifelong Boy Scout leader and enjoyed spending time with his family. Edgar is survived by his children, Mary Catherine (Ed) Thompson, Dennis (Sandi) Seymour, Carol Ann Seymour-Pond, and Virginia Marie (Wally) Hartin; grandchildren, Daniel Seymour, Julie and Jennifer Thompson, and Lacy and Ryan Hartin; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Seymour, and siblings, Frederick, Paul, Mary Margaret, Robert, Carol, and Charles. Edgar was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, John, Albert, Richard, George, and Anne. All services for Edgar are private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
