Bob Modell, LTjg SC USNR
 

Assigned to the USS Hull DD945 in June, 1961 and served on board through July, 1963.  Responsibilities included roles as Assistant Supply Officer, Disbursing, Ship Store and Commissary Officer.  During that period, Hull completed a Westpac cruise, escort duty to Panama, and numerous readiness exercises and US port calls.  Upon leaving active duty, he joined the US Navy Ready Reserve and had various assignments with reserve units for the following 22 years.  He retired in 1985 as an 0-6.  In his civilian career, Bob joined Union Bank (Los Angeles) after receiving his MBA from UCLA.  He remained at Union Bank for the next 36 years holding a variety of assignments in the position of Senior Vice President.  He resides in Northridge, California with his wife, Charlotte, and has five children and seven grandchildren
