Neil Rangen

I joined the Navy in 1962. Did Boot Camp and "A" School in San Diego. Subic Bay was my next stop for 18 months. In early 1965 I reported to the Hull as an RM3. In 1966, while on the HulI, I re-enlisted and went to "B" School in San Diego. After "B" School I went to the Essex CVS-9 for a few months then on to Fleet Operational Control Center Kunia Hawaii. I was discharged an RM1 in 1970 and immediately went to work for the Illinois Department of Conservation, I later transfered to the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency. I retired from the State of Illinois in 2001 and presently live in Ocala Florida.
